A short visit to Kuria Muria


Kuria Muria Islands, Oman

During my tour of duty in the Sultan of Oman's Air Force (1984-6) I visited many fascinating places but usually without my camera. However, during an attachment to the base at Salalah, I was able to go on a short day trip to the Kuria Muria Islands in a SOAF Skyvan.

Below are a few images I took whilst on the ground. I was allowed to use my camera on condition that I did not include any people in the shots. Click on any image to pop up a larger version.
